The Benefits of Ingesting H2o
Have you ever considered the benefits of ingesting h2o? I live in the U.K and there was and up to around 3 years back I used to get through 2 litres of squash (concentrated fruit juice, dilute to drink) and 2 litres of Scotland’s other countrywide drink (Irn Bru) a week. At the time, although I realized that both squash and Irn Bru contained a massive amount of calories I just never related it with me. 3 years back I stopped ingesting squash and Irn Bru and made the swap to ingesting h2o. Making the change has not just cut down on my calorie ingestion, it’s also had a very positive effect on my lender balance.

You will probably have read a lot about the benefits of ingesting h2o helps such things benefits of ingesting wateras your skin tone and losing weight.

“The belief that we need eight glasses of h2o a day to stay healthy is a myth,” reports the Daily Mail today. The Unbiased says that there is “no evidence that ingesting eight glasses of h2o a day increases skin tone, aids dieting or helps prevent headaches”.

The newspaper reports are based on an editorial that concludes there is no proof of any benefit, except perhaps for people in hot climates. The authors of the editorial, however, note that the deficiency of clear evidence of any benefit is not the same as evidence that there is no benefit.

The editorial describes several studies that have appeared at the issue, including a recent case study published in the same journal. This case study and the editorial have highlighted the potential dangers of too much fluid, which can dilute sodium in the blood.”

I can’t make any comment about skin tone and what have you, but ingesting h2o has two clear benefits when you’re looking to lose weight:
1.It will fill your tummy up so you don’t need to eat as much, but please be aware that your body needs food to work. You will achieve much more by eating a healthy balanced diet and going for walks more than you will by filling up on h2o.
2.Given that h2o is the ultimate low calorie drink, then by ditching all your sodas, fruit juices and what have you, you will be taking in a lot less calories, so it should come as no great surprise that you will lose weight.

A healthy body is made up of around two thirds h2o. We do need to make sure that our bodies get sufficient fluid because during the day we get rid of h2o. If you live in a warm climate or if you are working hard then you will need more fluid because your rate of h2o decline is increased.

I realize that there are hordes of people that count on their trusty bottled h2o. In the not so distant earlier, a pair of big names in the U.K have been caught selling what was essentially tap h2o in their bottles. I wouldn’t have liked to have been in their P.R department when those stories broke, I think that it’s fair to say that they struggled.

Personally I drink tap h2o and I can’t see the point of buying for something that I can get out of my tap. If I’m likely somewhere and I’m likely to need refreshment then I’ll set some h2o in a bottle and take it with me. My h2o from the tap tastes good, it does what I want it to, so why complicate things?

There is no hard and fast rule about how much you should drink, what we need relies upon on a variety of factors such as our top, how lively we are, how warm it is, our health, and whether you are pregnant of breast feeding.

This is a great article on how much we should drink http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/h2o/NU00283/NSECTIONGROUP=2

Some of the fluid decline that we experience during the day is recovered from the food that we eat but the rest has to be made up from ingesting, and a reasonable average consumption is around 1.5 litres. The best test to work out if you are properly hydrated or not is the colour of your urine. If it’s light in colour then you are okay, but if it’s a darker yellow then you need to increase your fluid ingestion.

No matter what you drink it all counts towards your daily fluid ingestion. Obviously some drinks are much higher in calories than others, so if you want to lose weight then stick with h2o.

There is insufficient bona fide evidence to give a definitive answer as to the benefits of ingesting h2o, all anyone can say for definite is that it doesn’t flavor too bad, it’s cheap, and it has no calories. What you do now is up to you.
